SmileNature is committed to developing new products using green/eco-technologies.

(A) New plant cultivars, varieties or strains are produced using technologies that mimic natural process or evolution.

(B) State-of-the art biotechnologies, such as molecular biology and gene engineering are applied to add new traits to crops or nonfood plants. The plants have improved traits and are beneficial to the environment.

One of our efforts focuses on non-food feedstock plants that are adopted for biofuels/bioenergy. Our goals are to increase the efficiencies and lower the costs associated with biofuel production. Several targets will be ascertained, such as increasing seed or biofuel yields from green plants. In addition, some strains of plants will have enhanced tolerance against environmental stresses to guarantee continuously high production.
